ANIMALFEEDS: A NEW LOGO IN COMMEMORATION OF OUR 70 YEARS
Animalfeeds was founded by Pierre J. Petrou and Celia Meilan, in New York City in 1955. In commemoration of these 70 years, we have created a new image for our logo. We are retiring our previous image, in which the representation of a salmon, a pig, and a hen was encapsulated in a globe that was launched in 1998 and was the flagship of the company for nearly 30 years. The new logo has replaced the hen with a dog to recognize the weight of the pet food industry, which, along with the aquaculture and the swine industries, is one of the three main pillars of our existing business.
